The linen & Lavender company
CLEANING ~ HOME CARE ~ PET CARE ~ PLANT CARE ~ ERRAND RUNNING

The Linen & Lavender Company is a small, independent, one-woman business founded and run by me, Evie. What started as a little cleaning business has grown into something much bigger!
The Linen & Lavender Company is built around helping people, caring for animals, looking after homes and making everyday life that little bit easier.
From keeping your home pristine, to walking your dog, looking after your pets while you’re away, babysitting your little ones or simply running an errand when you don’t have the time, I am here to help.
One person. One familiar face you can trust.
Thank you for supporting my little business 🤍
Hey, I’m Evie, the person behind The Linen & Lavender Company. I’m a friendly, caring and hardworking person who genuinely loves helping others. I’ve always been someone who finds happiness in making people feel comfortable, supported and cared for, and that’s a big part of why I created my business.
I’ve always found a lot of fulfilment in looking after people and creating a sense of calm. Whether that’s caring for a child, spending time with an animal, helping someone who’s struggling to keep on top of everyday tasks, or simply making a home feel clean, calm and comfortable, I love knowing that I’ve made someone’s day a little easier. My services have grown from my experience, my interests and, most importantly, the things I genuinely enjoy doing.
The Linen & Lavender Company is completely independent and one-woman run, meaning you’ll always be speaking directly to me. I personally carry out the services I offer and take the time to get to know my clients, their homes, families, pets and individual routines. I’m DBS checked, fully insured and First Aid trained, with experience in childcare and professional cleaning, as well as a genuine passion for animals.
Linen & Lavender originally began as a small cleaning business, and over the past year it has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of.
I’ve always loved the feeling of making a space feel fresh, peaceful and cared for, but I realised that the thing I love most about my work is actually helping people.
As my cleaning diary became increasingly full, I started thinking about how I could use the smaller gaps in my schedule to do more of the things I genuinely enjoy- caring for animals, working with children, helping people with everyday tasks and looking after homes.
That’s how Linen & Lavender began evolving into The Linen & Lavender Company: a little helping hand for people in my local community.

The name Linen & Lavender is very close to my heart.
When I think about the feeling I want to create through my business, I think back to being little and staying with my Nan. She would tuck me into freshly washed, crisp linen sheets, with the gentle scent of lavender around me. There was something about those moments that made me feel safe, calm and cared for.
I’ve always been very aware of how much our surroundings can affect the way we feel. A clean, peaceful and comforting environment can completely change your mood, just as a chaotic, cluttered or uncomfortable environment can make you feel overwhelmed.
As someone with both ADHD and autism, I understand this on a very personal level. My environment can have a huge impact on how I feel, how well I can concentrate and how manageable everyday life feels. I know what it’s like when your surroundings become overwhelming, and I also know the incredible feeling of walking into a space that feels fresh, calm and organised.
That’s one of the reasons I care so much about what I do. Whether I’m cleaning someone’s home, caring for their pets, looking after their children or simply helping them get through a busy week, I want to create that same feeling I remember from my Nan’s home- that feeling of being looked after.
Linen represents that feeling of fresh, clean, comforting surroundings. Lavender represents calm, warmth and care. And together, Linen & Lavender represents the feeling I want to leave behind wherever I go.

I’ve been working with children for over 10 years and have experience across a variety of childcare settings.
I’ve worked as a private nanny, a kids club leader, a support worker with SEN children, a nursery practitioner, a Nursery Room Manager, as well as having lots of experience babysitting children of all ages.
My childcare experience has given me a strong understanding of safeguarding, children’s individual needs, routines, activities and creating an environment where children feel safe, comfortable and listened to.
I hold a Level 3 childcare qualification, have experience with the EYFS and safeguarding, and have also completed advanced First Aid training.
I absolutely love working with children and I believe that good childcare isn’t just about keeping children safe, but it’s about making them feel valued, understood and happy too.

Cleaning is where Linen & Lavender began, and it remains a huge part of what I do.
Over the past year, I’ve built up a regular client base and am now fortunate enough to be fully booked with regular cleaning clients.
I have experience with regular domestic cleaning, one-off cleans, deep cleans, air BnB cleans, post construction cleans and more. I love helping clients get on top of homes that have become overwhelming or difficult to manage.
I take a lot of pride in my work and pay attention to the little details. For me, cleaning isn’t just about making a house look clean, but it’s about creating a home that feels fresh, comfortable and enjoyable to live in. Environment is so important!

Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy.
I understand that leaving your pets with someone else can feel daunting, particularly when they’re part of your family. That’s why I take the time to get to know each individual animal and their personality, routines, likes and dislikes.
Whether your pet is energetic and loves long walks, nervous around new people, needs lots of cuddles or simply prefers someone to quietly keep them company, I aim to care for them in the way that makes them feel safest and happiest.
I understand that pet care isn’t just about feeding an animal and letting them outside. It’s about companionship, attention, routine and noticing when something doesn’t seem quite right.
You’re dealing directly with one person, from start to finish.
No call centres. Just simple, clear communication.
No rotating staff. No strangers being sent to your home. Just one person you know and trust.
One familiar face, personal communication and a genuine relationship with every client. I take the time to get to know you, your home, your pets and your routines, so you can feel comfortable knowing you’re in safe hands.
I’m DBS checked, fully insured and First Aid trained, with experience in both childcare and professional cleaning. I’m also passionate about animals and genuinely love caring for people, pets and homes.
The Linen & Lavender Company is a local, independent and one-woman-run business. When you book with me, you’re getting a personal service from someone who truly cares about the people and homes I look after.
